Mr. Mukhtar Hasan is a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) graduate and is a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He also holds a Corporate Finance (CF) qualification issued by the ICAEW. He is the Chairman of Al Barij International LLC – a corporate finance firm specializing in corporate turnarounds and based in Muscat. He has served on the Boards of several Omani public companies including United Power, Renaissance Services, Renaissance Hospitality, Muscat Finance, Oman Textiles and many more. He brings with him rich experience in banking, investments, real estate, industry, agriculture, services etc. Mr. Hasan is also a member on Board of another MSX listed company as well as several closed joint-stock and private companies in Oman and internationally. He is currently a member of the Middle East Advisory Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He has served as an honorary member of the Board of Governors of ABA, an IB World School in Muscat for several years.
Mr. Balachandran is holding a degree in science and a member of senior management team in well-diversified and well-respected Muscat Overseas Group, which is established over four decades ago. He is having vast experience in management cadre of more than three decades. He is also holding position as Chairman of Audit Committee in MTM.
Mr. Awadh is holding a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from a reputed university in Oman. He is also on board of other publicly held joint-stock company in Oman and owning businesses of varied nature.
Mr. Adel is a science graduate with specialization in hotel and tourism management from US based university. He is an Executive Director in Switz Group, headquartered in Dubai, UAE, which is one of the largest bakery products manufacturers in the middle east with operations spread across several countries. In his role as Executive Director, he is involved in the areas of growth strategies, investment decisions, key HR appointments, preserving cultural values, amongst other important aspects. He is also holding Director’s position in few other limited liability companies in the region.
Mr. Himansu holds a master’s degree in commerce (Advance Accountancy) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Finance). He holds the position of Group General Manager- Investment and a member of the executive committee at Muscat Overseas Group. He has set up, acquired and managed multiple new businesses and projects for the Group in Real Estate, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Aquaculture, Media & Communication, Entertainment and Hospitality sector. During his earlier assignments, has worked with sovereign wealth fund in Oman and other leading financial institutes in India. His experience of two decades spans into Investment Banking, Portfolio Management, Private Equity, Real Estate Development, Strategic Management and Organizational Development. He holds directorship in various other companies in Oman including publicly held joint-stock companies, closely-held joint-stock companies, private companies and in educational institutes.
